The food you helped us send, a year ago - to feed hungry children in Africa's Sudan - is almost gone.

Amazingly, it takes just $6 to feed a child for an entire month.  But we have 723 in our EVERY CHILD EVERY DAY program in southern Sudan right now - and some 3,000 more who urgently need food too.

In fact, the need is so great that our partner-ministry in southern Sudan is taking an unprecedented step and establishing a farm to grow additional food for the children.

Farmland has been donated and your generous gift today will enable us to rush crucial agricultural supplies to help get it set up before winter sets in.  Every 10 acres we help them plant and irrigate can help feed another 100 children! 

The awful truth is that hunger is a more terrible threat in Sudan today than it has been in years.  Drought has led to famine - the rainy season may not be rainy at all - but with our help an irrigated farm can be up and running in a matter of months.
